Scenery and Track The last sections of track have been added to the
layout and there is no more room to add anymore so
the wife keeps telling me, Track has been changed
in the layout for better sections to replace the
ones which were not so good. All the black
switches now work which has made running the
trains more interesting especially trying to
remember which one does what. An embankment has
been made at the back of the passing loops with a
road on top to hold all the Trackside vehicles I
have. I have started to fit neo magnets into some
of the locomotives which has improved there
performance.

Nice one !
Smashing web site. Good to see someone still
running dublo 3-rail. I just bought a 4MT on
e.bay for a friend here in France who works with
JEP 3-rail track and runs mainly Marklin locos
(AC but fitted with diodes so they'll run on
DC !) I gave it a clean and away it went !
Bruno's well pleased, and when I saw it running
on his layout, Irealised I just had to have one
too ! I found a reasonable 2-rail example on
e.bay which I won for £17 (+ £9 potage to
France !) I also recently bought my "dream
loco" - the 8F I couldn't afford as a kid,
though at that time they were being made by
Wrenn. I work in 2 rail, so for £30 I was well
pleased to get a nice clean Dublo 8F which after
a brief hesistation ran like new ! The seller
tells me she hadn't run for 30 years. How many
chinese models will be running in 2040 I
wonder...
Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your
updates. I particularly appreciate your
restoration notes.
